We offer primary education for children from 4 – 11 years of age.

 

Our school is a community in which children, staff, parents, and governors work together in partnership. We strive to create good working relationships and effective communication systems to ensure a school environment where the children feel secure, cared for, and valued. Moreover, worthwhile learning must take place and the children must be intellectually challenged. We are committed to the National Outcomes for all children in that they have the right to be healthy, happy, safe, make a positive contribution and achieve high standards.

 

Ten Mile Bank School values and depends upon the support and cooperation of our parents, whose interest and contribution are essential to the children’s education. We aim to establish a real partnership with parents so that every child feels secure in the knowledge that we are working together. We greatly value parental involvement in helping to ensure the happiness of every child in our school.

 

Keeping you informed about your child’s progress is a priority. Parents are invited to an afternoon / evening of individual parent / teacher consultations during the autumn and spring terms, and in summer a written report on each child’s progress is produced.

 

The school prospectus gives you only a brief introduction to our school: we hope you will wish to find out more. We welcome visits from prospective parents, and look forward to meeting you.
